Florida fishing laws, rules, and regulations,
Just one word was not enough to describe our Florida rules.

State of Florida water extend out 9 miles from the coast of Florida on the gulf side.
Then it becomes Federal waters, while often they are the same, sometimes they are not.
the question is if they are different, can you bring the fish to land in state waters. If you fished Federal waters
and the law is different???

Freshwater rules  This is confusing try to find the lake or place/area where you intend to fish.
                                    many places even lake to lake can be different.

The FWC has extended the closure of snook season until next September 2012 for the gulf coast.
It will be open from Sept.17 to Dec. 15, 2010 on the Atlantic coast, but also closed there for the
spring of 2012 season.
